   Rolling from Back to Belly

Your pediatrician has most likely recommended your baby have some 'tummy time'; but tummy time

is something both you and your baby need to 'learn' how to do.  One key to success in tummy time

is 'how' the baby get's into the position.   See below for an instructional slide-show...

Sessions in Developmental Movement Therapy

offer help for infants, toddlers and children with sleep difficulty,

frequent crying, arching back, digestive problems, birth defects,

trauma, movement challenges, neurological problems,

developmental delays, attention deficit, learning disabilities,

brain injury, and more.  Lenore Grubinger practices

Developmental Movement Therapy to support and foster

healthy functioning of a child's brain and body.

Over 25 years of helping you help your child

through bodywork during play

Wellness Sessions provide the family, with a child age 0-6 months, a relaxing place to learn

together about the child. Lenore follows the baby's lead to provide appropriate parent education.

For example, some babies and parents get a hand with nursing, others learn tips to address

digestive discomfort and most--both parent and child--come away more able to enjoy tummy

time.  Many have a chance to reflect on the birth experience and the new life with the baby,

and take away an increased understanding of what movements their baby will be doing next

and how they can help him/her through play.
