Classes led by Lenore Grubinger RMT, IDME

Classes are for well & challenged children. Some folks drop in just to better understand the process of development, to get new perspective on what your child is doing, what she'll be doing next, or how you can help her in ordinary play. Some come for help with common problems of infancy such as stressed digestion & difficulty going to sleep; and others have mild delays and attend to receive help to make gains in specific aspects of development.

In these weekly classes we enjoy and observe the babies as we assist their comfort and development. We sit in a circle on the floor at the begiinning of class, observing the babies of all ages. As the children get involved in play, or sleeping or nursing if they wish, we spend hands-on time with each child. Sometimes we work in small groups with similar themes, such as learning to roll, learning to sit safely, learning to crawl or a parent learning how to apply hands on & positional help. Participating adults learn ways to feed, hold & play with children that support development of brain and body.

Through play we help children make gains in:

Fine and Gross Motor Capability

Communication & Language Development

Making Transitions

Self-Regulation and
Self-Comfort

Organization & Sequencing

Social Skills

  • What can I do if she/he doesn’t roll?
